This discount is only for individual plans, not group plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. Personal individual health plans at discounted association rates is an affordable alternative to those who do not have group health insurance through an employer. Additionally, it is often times more affordable, to insure dependants (spouse and/or children) on individual plans rather than on a group plan with an employer.
